The sound attenuation, used by themselves, is NOWHERE NEAR what you need for gunfire. They might be OK for lower level noise. You could wear non-amplified muffs over them. Or you could maybe use them as cheap hearing aids, they will really amplify.

these were a total waste of money, only because of seller. Adverties’ that are for protecting if shooting. Only enhances sound, does not damper. If I shot with these i’d bust an ear drum. sending back for full refund. total trash, no way to contact seller for assistance. WASTE…OF…MONEY… seller should feel guilty and sit on a cactus.

I just got the Radians Enhance ear electronic hearing protection (2units)
don’t waste you time or money, the ones I got didn’t work, when I say they didn’t work they wouldn’t even turn on. All the controls are to small to work and the batties are hard to get in because of the smallest. They are on the way back to Amazon as I write this. We will see how goog there return department is.
They wouldn’t finsh my opinion until I put a rate for this item I had to put one star, but that’s not true, it shoul be no star.
